  • Shaping, enabling and leading energy-transition & Decarbonization Initiatives in upstream projects towards meeting company’s Net-Zero targets through GHG emission reduction initiatives, CCUS projects, electrification, blue-Hydrogen, operational Excellence & innovative Technology applications.

 

  • Decarbonization and CCS in Thistle and Magnus fields in North Sea with estimated 5 Mt CO2 injection yearly and around 100 Mt CO2 storage scope.

 

  • Sullom Voe Terminal (SVT) infrastructure transformation through simplification, decarbonization, Green Hydrogen and Wind Turbine projects 

 

  • Kawasaki High CO2 offshore field development and associated CCUS plan in M1 Depleted carbonate gas field. 1st in kind in the world CCS project with Injection in 2025 with plus 5 mil Tonne per annum CO2 Injection.

 

  • Lang-Lebah High CO2 offshore Field Development and associated CCS in Golok depleted field. 1 st CCS Injection in 2027 with plus 2.5 mil Tonne per annum CO2 Injection.

 

  • K5 high CO2 Field FDP formulation, K5.4 CO2 Injection well pilot appraisal plan, de-risking CCS surveillance and associated integrated CCS Lab studies.

 

  • High Contaminant (CO2. H2S, Hg) strategic Business initiative for steering & solutioning the development, management and operation of high
    contaminant fields and GHG Emission management towards Company’s Net Zero Target

 

  • CCS strategic business initiative in PM and SK regions in Malaysia covering the Storage ADPs, CO2 Sequestration Development Plans, storage in Saline aquifers and CO2-EOR applications, etc.

 

  • Led the development of PETRONAS CCS SRMS and GHG monitoring & forecasting guideline

 

  • Advisory member of the IOGP CCS taskforce in UK on ‘Measurement, Monitoring and Verification- MMV’ and ‘CCS Standards & Guidelines’ initiatives.

 

  • Technical advisor of PETRONAS Upstream CCS Taskforce covering various aspects of CCS Value chain including Technical, Technology, Legal &
    Regulatory, Commercial & Business Models, and Collaboration.

 

  • Review CCS guidelines and standards including the Phase behaviour, Flow modelling, Risk Matrix & Mitigation plans, Technology Gap Mapping, and MMP guidelines.
